Most of us thought about living in a small town when we're already grown old, while working and struggling in a big city at young ages. Either small town or a big city has its own advantages and disadvantages, which I would elaborate below.
Small town provides more nature environment than big city has. Because of less mobilization found here, we hardly see buildings of business park or vehicles. It offered you calming situation and more fresh air. But there would be less job opportunity in a small town than in the big city. Moreover, you can't find facilities as many as in metropolitan. For instance, city park, subway, or high-tech town facilities.
It's another story for a big city. It provided you with buildings and infrastructures that intentionally built to create a conducive situation for working people. Most of a state's income are generated from local business that mostly located in big cities. They are the center of every administrative affairs within the country. Inefficiency in city productivity would cause any problem. So, don't be amazed if you saw metropolitan people are hurried and self-centered. They worked under pressure and deadlines.
The cultures and atmosphere between small town and big city are quite different. To determine the perfect place to stay you must consider about the need and prospect in future so that you don't have to be troubled by moving out to another house just because you can't fit to the culture around you.
